At Buddy Sports, I believe creativity is more than making art... it's a teacher.
Through art, design, and creative exploration, I help children become calm, confident, and capable by encouraging them to imagine freely, express themselves honestly, and discover their unique voice. Away from pressure, comparison, and the fear of getting things "wrong", children learn to explore, experiment, and trust their own ideas.
These creativity programmes are shaped by my own journey. I'm a graduate of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), and much of what I learned about observation, self-expression, creative problem-solving, and seeing possibilities beyond limitations now guides how I work with children... carefully adapted into a child-safe, supportive approach where curiosity is encouraged and mistakes are welcomed as part of learning.
Each creative session gently challenges children in safe, meaningful ways, helping them build :
🎨 Calmness — learning patience, focus, mindfulness, and the ability to slow down and be present in the creative process.
🖌️ Confidence — developed through self-expression, sharing ideas, embracing mistakes, and trusting their own creative instincts.
🤝 Capability — through problem-solving, observation, adaptability, critical thinking, and learning that there are many ways to approach a challenge.
Creativity teaches children that there is rarely only one right answer. In these moments, children learn resilience, independence, and the courage to be different. They become more willing to explore, more comfortable taking creative risks, and more confident expressing who they are.
Most importantly, I focus on creating a safe and encouraging environment where children feel supported to imagine, create, and grow at their own pace.
